Do you have questions about the recently updated enrolment process? This guide addresses the most common FAQs related to enrolling your parents, staff and students.
When will the changes to the user enrolment journey take place?
The changes were released on Thursday 28th August 2025.
Where do I need to go in my ReachMoreParents platform to enrol my users now the update has taken place?
A new dedicated Enrolment section has been added to the school administration area within ReachMoreParents. All other enrolment points across the platform have now been removed. To find out more about how to enrol users, please see our guide here .
What happens to our existing enrolment templates?
All current welcome and enrolment templates will no longer be used. They will remain visible for a limited time for reference only. If you would like to view the new enrolment message templates, please see the attachment at the bottom of this article.
Are the new enrolment templates different?
Yes. They now include merge fields that automatically insert the correct app name and webstore link based on your school’s setup. This removes the need to manually edit templates for schools with a custom app.
Will templates vary by user type?
Yes. Enrolment messages are tailored to:
- Parents and students - These enrolment messages direct parents and students to the ReachMoreParents app.
- Staff - These enrolment messages direct staff to the web portal, with the option to also use the app when needed.
What options are available for enrolling users?
Standard settings allow you to enrol:
- By role type (such as all parents or all staff).
- Specific named individuals
Advanced settings allow you to enrol:
- By group (such as Year 7)
- By more specific role types (such as teaching staff only)
- By combinations (such as the parents/carers of Year 7)
Can I see a list of users I am sending enrolment messages to?
Yes, if you select specific groups of users to enrol using the 'Advanced Options,' you can click 'View Selections' to display a list of users you are about to enrol. If you are unsure of how to enrol specific groups of users using the Advanced Options, please see steps 7a and 7b of this guide .
Can enrolment templates still be customised?
Yes, templates can still be customised. However, we strongly recommend using them as provided. They have been carefully written to ensure clarity and accuracy based on each user’s status, including whether they already have an account, need an enrolment code, or are linked to a custom app. Customising templates may lead to users receiving incorrect or confusing information. If you do need to make changes, we recommend speaking with our Support team first to ensure nothing essential is lost.
