Correcting a user that has been manually created

Manually created users will have no link to SIMS, to correct this Weduc support can add the external ID to the account.

In SIMS

1. Go to reports and Design Report
   

1. Create a new report
   
   
   
2. Choose Contact/Student/staff depending on the type of user and click next
   
   
   
3. For fields choose;
4. Full Name
5. Contact Information -> Primary Email
6. CESThirdPartyFields -> External ID
   
   
7. Click Next
8. Optionally; you could add a new filter for the parents in question;
9. New
10. Full Name
11. Contains = The parents surname
    
    
    
    
12. Finish

Set the report as excel then either preview or run, It’s a good idea to save this report for future use.

Copy and paste the results from the excel spreadsheet into your email to Weduc support, please do not use screen shots
